The latest in the world Android has a bit of activity today since Android smart phones have just achieved greater than 50% of new phone sales.  Apple has just recieved a major set back in the Clash of the Titans.  This is a major milestone for Android.

Nexus 7 hasn’t even made it to the shelves yet and already there is a Jelly Bean update. The first Jelly bean update is available for download now.

Android 4.1.1 just made itself available on the AOSP servers yesterday, and evidently it’s wasting no time in heading towards the world’s first Jelly Bean tablet. The ASUS-built Nexus 7 is now receiving the update — a 12.6MB download that boosts the version number to 4.1.1.
