Android has become a very popular technology for smart phones and has been gaining popularity as a base for tablet PCs which are seeking to compete with the Ipad.  I have always loved Gadgets and I must have owned at least one of every hand held device since the first Psion 3 and before.  I had to have the first net book and several more after that.  The world of technology being opened up by the competition between Android and Apple is nothing less than exciting to a gadget lover like me.

The recent release of Android 3.1 opened up the world of USB to tablets, which is a notable advance that gives the Android a distinct technical edge over the iPad – but for how long.  This keen competition has to be good for geeks like me, the only down side being that each release doesn’t get the bugs out til a few updates later.  The competition is fast and furious and keeping a step ahead is the prize coveted by each side.

We will attempt to keep you informed of these changes as fast as they occur and at the rate we might expect them to occur this may not be an easy task.
